INSPIRATION

Rustic Antiques | Historic Brewing Aesthetics

Carillon Brewing Co. offers visitors a glimpse into 1850s-era Dayton through the authentically prepared food and drink of the times. It is the nation’s only production brewery in a museum, and the only U.S. brewery replicating the historic brewing process.
 

PROCESS

I used label printers with advanced woodworking tools to craft miniature wagons holding beer barrels.

After visiting the museum several times, and taste testing their drinks with friends for "design purposes", I began sketching concepts of a miniature rustic wagon carrying 6 wooden 'barrels' featuring each of the unique flavors. The result was the perfect 6-pack design for Ohio's most historical brewery. 

I used ink to illustrate the ingredients like citrus, hops, and beets
